The earthquake was not felt by people in the Czech Republic and no damage to buildings or infrastructure is expected here.
The earthquake was felt by many people in Italy, Austria and Slovenia. It occured just two days after a similarly strong event from Bovec, Slovenia, some 50 km ESE.
